Question 1

What is Vaanii?

Accepted Answer

Vaanii is an AI call center platform for businesses that want to automate phone calls at scale. It uses human-like AI voice agents to run inbound and outbound calls for customer support, lead qualification, reminders, collections, and sales — without hiring or managing a team of call center agents.

Question 2

How does Vaanii differ from a regular IVR system?

Accepted Answer

IVR systems play pre-recorded menus (“Press 1 for sales...”). Vaanii holds actual two-way conversations. It understands context, handles interruptions, remembers what was said, and adapts in real-time just like a trained human agent.

Question 3

What languages does Vaanii support?

Accepted Answer

Vaanii currently supports almost all Indian languages including Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, and Punjabi. It also supports English and other foreign languages, with Hindi AI voice agents available out of the box.

Question 4

Can Vaanii handle inbound and outbound calls?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Vaanii is built for both. Outbound campaigns — sales, collections, reminders, lead qualification — launch from a CSV and run thousands of simultaneous AI calls. Inbound calls are answered by AI phone agents that route, qualify, and resolve conversations without a human in the loop.

Question 5

Is AI calling legal in India?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Vaanii is built for the Indian regulatory environment. DLT registration, consent capture, opt-out handling, and time-of-day rules are first-class features of the platform, not bolt-ons.

Question 6

How much does Vaanii cost?

Accepted Answer

Vaanii uses transparent per-minute pricing. You pay only for the time the AI voice agent is actually talking to your customer, with no hidden fees. Visit the Pricing page for current per-minute rates and volume tiers.

Question 7

Can the AI go off-script and say something wrong?

Accepted Answer

No. Unlike generic chatbots, Vaanii converts your plain-text goal into a strict conversational flowchart before making any calls. The AI is physically constrained to follow this map. It cannot hallucinate or invent information.

Question 8

How quickly can I get started?

Accepted Answer

You can launch your first campaign in under 5 minutes. Sign up, upload a script or call recording, upload a CSV of contacts, and press play. Watch as Vaanii creates a human-like conversational flow tailored to your customers in real-time.
